Frequently asked questions
Which Facebook links work?
Links to public videos and Reels, such as facebook.com/watch/?v=…, facebook.com/<page>/videos/… and facebook.com/reel/…. Videos in private groups, private profiles and Stories can't be converted.
Why doesn't my facebook.com/share/… or fb.watch link work?
Those share links only redirect to the video, so we can't open them directly yet. Open the link in your browser first, then copy the full address from the address bar and paste that here.
Can I convert Facebook Live videos?
Not while they're live. Once the broadcast has ended and the recording is posted publicly, you can convert it like any other video (up to 60 minutes).
Do I need to log in to Facebook?
No. Audiora never asks for your Facebook password and only works with videos anyone can watch.
Which audio quality should I choose?
192 kbps is a great default. Pick 320 kbps for the best quality, or 128 kbps for smaller files such as podcasts and speech.
Can I convert a video file from my device?
Yes. Switch to the "Upload file" tab and choose an MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, AVI or audio file up to 200 MB. Uploaded files are deleted right after conversion.
Is it free, and do you keep a copy?
Yes, it's free with no sign-up, and we don't store your MP3s or a history of the videos you convert.
